Gas Safety

Any property that contains a gas boiler is at risk from experiencing carbon monoxide poisoning and other leakage issues if the boiler is not properly maintained and inspected by a qualified gas engineer.

Carbon monoxide has no smell and can kill surprisingly quickly; symptoms of poisoning include headaches, feeling dizzy, nausea and confusion and has been likened to having flu, only without the fever. In order to prevent this, it is important to have all gas appliances checked regularly and have carbon monoxide detectors fitted throughout the property.
